Introduction to Scrum Master

(PA-ISM) Program


This 6-month program prepares new Scrum Masters for learning the fundamentals of Scrum and will help you to prepare for Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master® I (PSM I®) exam, and then builds on the fundamentals to accelerate the learning curve on how to facilitate a cross-functional team to achieve better results, ultimately leading to the knowledge necessary to achieving a passing score on the PIVOCITY Academy® Introduction to Scrum Master (PA-ISM®) Certification.


The course offers actionable tools for building high-performing teams and explores practical ways of addressing Agile and Scrum anti-patterns.

Attending the class will help you to prepare for Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master® I (PSM I®) exam after the first 2-day session, and attaining the PIVOCITY Academy® Introduction to Scrum Master Certification (PA-ISM®) upon completion of the curriculum.

Exam Details

  • Exam Name: PIVOCITY Academy® Introduction to Scrum Master (PA-ISM®) Exam

  • Exam Format: Multiple Choice; Multiple Select

  • Exam Delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed

  • Exam Access: Candidates can access the exam upon completion of the PIVOCITY Academy Introduction to Scrum Master course

  • Exam cost: First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee and course completion if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $250.

  • Exam Duration: Once the exam begins candidates have 120 minutes to complete the exam

  • Number of Questions: 60

  • Passing Score: 51 out of 60 (85%)

  • Language: English

  • Retake policy: Second attempt on the exam (first retake) can be done immediately after the first attempt. The third attempt requires a 10-day wait. The fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait. Contact support@pivocity.com for any retake questions.
