(PA-AM) Program

Overview

According to Daniel Pink, the intrinsic motivators of knowledge workers are Master, Autonomy, and Purpose.  Couple this together with the Agile Manifesto principle that says, "The best architecture, requirements, and designs emerge from self-organizing teams," and you begin to have mid-level managers that aren't too sure of their role.

 

 

This 6-month program prepares managers of people for learning the fundamentals 0f management in today's complex world.  The traditional approach of managing individuals no longer reaps the benefits of the past.  Managers today must understand how to motivate individuals, teams, and organizations to remain competitive in the marketplace. 

 

 

The Agile Managers Program (PA-AM) will focus on how managers must transition from a traditional style of management and begin to lead their teams to achieve success.

 

 

Managers who complete this course will have an arsenal of tools and concepts to use as their organization continues to pursue their agile or lean journies.

 

Attending the class prepares individuals to attain the PIVOCITY Academy Agile Manager Certification (PA-AM) upon completion of the curriculum.

Exam Details

  • Exam Name: PIVOCITY Academy Agile Managers (PA-AM) Exam

  • Exam Format: Multiple Choice; Multiple Select

  • Exam Delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed

  • Exam Access: Candidates can access the exam upon completion of the PIVOCITY Academy Agile Managers course

  • Exam cost: First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee and course completion if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $250.

  • Exam Duration: Once the exam begins candidates have 120 minutes to complete the exam

  • Number of Questions: 60

  • Passing Score: 51 out of 60 (85%)

  • Language: English

  • Retake policy: Second attempt on the exam (first retake) can be done immediately after the first attempt. The third attempt requires a 10-day wait. The fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait. Contact support@pivocity.com for any retake questions.
